We are flipping the switch: Mercedes-Benz is creating an innovative electric mobility ecosystem of products, services, technologies and innovations with the EQ product and technology brand. As the Charging Unit in Mercedes-Benz Mobility, we are an integral part of creating a unique customer experience beyond the battery and powertrain. This internship in the Charging Technology team gives you the opportunity to actively shape this ecosystem and gain valuable experience in the electrifying world of Mercedes-Benz
An internship in Charging Technology at one of the best-known and most valuable brands in the world means one thing in particular: new challenges and plenty of variety every day.
Our dynamic department of specialists from different areas is responsible for the development of charging infrastructure in the USA in order to take the customer experience of Mercedes-Benz drivers to a new level when charging in public spaces.
Our focus is on optimizing the "magic behind the curtain" and making it future-proof. We are working with our international team to create the best charging experience of tomorrow. To this end, we exchange ideas with various departments in the areas of research & development, IT, controlling, marketing and legal. But we also focus on the overall concept in connection with our own charging service, our own vehicles and our own charging infrastructure.
Making coffee? Not with us
During your internship, you will support the team in the design, implementation, testing and rollout of new features. We place great emphasis on personal responsibility, because you are allowed to drive your sub-areas forward independently.

You will face these challenges during your internship:
Independent development of exciting, future-oriented solutions for complex customer and market requirements Conception and implementation of future-oriented features in the field of high-power charging Testing software requirements from the areas of vehicle, mobile application and internal systems Application of agile working methods in an international and dynamic working environment Preparation of business requirements for IT development Deriving realizable product components from complex technical contexts Qualifikationen Degree in business informatics or a comparable course of study Very good written and spoken English skills Confident handling of MS Office Previous knowledge of the market/competitive environment in the field of electromobility is an advantage Interest in electromobility and a class B driver's license are desirable Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of working Desire to work independentlyWhat we offer:
