With its IT systems, our "Center of Competence (CoC) Production Cars" enables the production of vehicles along the entire value chain. Whether in the planning of a vehicle or in the direct processes in the powertrain, press shop, body shop, paint shop and assembly through to delivery - our IT systems are in use around the clock at all powertrain and vehicle production sites worldwide.
In the "Manufacturing Execution & Operations" team, we are responsible for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) scopes for controlling the production and assembly processes in the body shop, the trade-specific body sorters, in the powertrain (engines, transmissions, axles, electric drive train, batteries) as well as partial scopes in vehicle assembly. We are now looking for student support for the technical architecture of our product clusters within the "PLUS" production management and control system. Your activities will give you exciting insights into the global production network of Mercedes-Benz and the processes of large IT products and projects.
You will be assigned these tasks:
Collaboration with the Cluster Architects as well as with dynamic and international SCRUM teams Support in the maintenance of agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) Supporting the Cluster Architects in organizing appointments, e.g. preparing presentations, preparing and following up workshops, inviting product and project members, moderating and recording content Coordination and support of tasks in the various project phases (planning, conception, implementation, test and rollout phase) Maintenance and further development of cross-product communication Qualifikationen You are studying for a Bachelor's/Master's/Diploma degree in an IT-related subject such as business informatics, economics (with a possible focus on IT) or computer science You already have some experience in project work or PMO tasks or are ready to acquire this experience You already have knowledge of one or more of the following tools Power Point, Excel, MS Project, Confluence or Jira You communicate in German and English in an international environment across locations You quickly familiarize yourself with different topics and are willing to go the extra mile for the success of the project You question the status quo, implement necessary changes independently and keep the focus on the essentialsAre you keen and eager to become part of an international team that is driving the digital transformation of IT at Mercedes-Benz?
