Overview

The Senior Product Manager at Aleph Alpha is responsible for overseeing the development and management of our product portfolio. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, define roadmaps, and deliver innovative and successful products to market. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a proven track record in product management.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute and support the product strategy, including identifying market opportunities, and defining product vision. 
  • Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify market needs, target customer segments, and competitive landscape to inform product requirements. 
  • Define and communicate clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to engineering and design teams, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy. 
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs.  
  • Analyze and interpret user feedback, market trends, and performance metrics to iteratively improve the product and drive user engagement. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for new product releases and feature updates. 
  • Drive cross-functional coordination with stakeholders including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product improvements. 
  • Act as a product evangelist, conducting product demonstrations, participating in industry events, and fostering relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations for product enhancements and new opportunities. 
Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in the technology or software industry. 
  • Strong understanding of product management best practices, and agile methodologies, and demonstrated experience in the complete product development lifecycle. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams. 
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in product analytics and market research tools is preferred. 
  • Strong customer-centric focus, with experience gathering and incorporating customer feedback into product decisions and improvements. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and delivering results within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications is a plus. 
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, identify revenue opportunities, and drive profitability. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. 
  • Experience working in an international environment or with global teams is highly desired. 
  • Proficiency in German is a strong plus for this role minimum B2
