Responsibilities

We are looking for an Adobe Experience Manager - Senior Backend Developer to support our growing portfolio of projects. 
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the backend of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) application. 
You will work closely with our frontend developers and project managers to deliver seamless and robust digital experiences.

Create and manage custom AEM components, templates and workflows for content management solutions tailored to business needs Design and develop scalable, future-proof, secure, high-performance solutions using AEM and related technologies such as Java, Apache Sling, OSGi (Apache Felix), and JCR (Jackrabbit Oak) Integrate AEM with other applications Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM implementation and performance Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to create and/or integrate APIs and web services Assist in the migration and upgrading of AEM instances across versions Optimize backend processes to enhance performance, scalability, and security Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in AEM and backend development Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards Document development processes, code changes, and other necessary technical information Participate in agile development cycles and project planning Share your knowledge with Junior and Professional developers

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience in backend development with AEM Proficient in Java and experience developing and troubleshooting with the AEM Platform Knowledge of Apache Sling, OSGi, and Java Content Repository (JCR) Understanding of RESTful web services and API integration Experience in unit and functional testing Experience with version control systems, such as Git/GitLab Expertise with Apache Sling and working with Sling Models Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
