Senior Software Engineer – Device Infrastructure

Do stuff that matters und werde ein Teil unseres Device-Infrastruktur-Teams und trage Deinen eigenen Teil dazu bei, mit uns die Energiebranche zu digitalisieren und somit erneuerbare Energien überall zugänglich und bezahlbar zu machen.
Unser IoT-Gateway, die gridBox, ist ein zentraler Teil unserer Plattform.
Als Device Infrastructure Team schaffen wir die Grundlage des Erfolges und sichern die Skalierbarkeit - angefangen von ihrer Produktion bis zu ihrem eigenen Deployment-System, durch das wir neue Anwendungen in kürzester Zeit entwickeln und bei unseren Kund:innen ausrollen können. Über unsere größtenteils in Go entwickelten Tools machen wir anderen internen Teams, die mit der gridBox arbeiten, den Alltag leichter.
- Du betreibst unsere auf Kubernetes basierende IoT-Management-Plattform und verantwortest ihre weitere Entwicklung
- In Kooperation mit unserem Hardware-Team optimierst Du den Produktionsprozess für unsere gridBox durch den Einsatz von Software, zum Beispiel hinsichtlich der Nachvollziehbarkeit und der Integration in andere Systeme
- Für unsere Entwickler:innen stellst Du u.a. Monitoring- und Deployment-Tools bereit, sodass diese selbstständig ihre Anwendungen auf unsere gridBox ausrollen können und agierst dabei als Expert:in für diese Tools
- Als Senior-Entwickler:in gestaltest die langfristige Architektur eines komplexen Systems und kannst eigenständig die Vor- und Nachteile von schwierigen technischen Entscheidungen abwägen
- Go/ Golang ist unsere go-to Programmiersprache, idealerweise bringst Du hier Erfahrung mit und konntest Go/ Golang schon in einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung anwenden #go #golang
- Du bringst Berufserfahrung mit Docker und Bash sowie sehr gute Kenntnisse von IP-Netzwerken mit
- Du bist sicher im Umgang mit Versionskontrollsystemen (z.B. Git) und anderen Best Practices moderner Softwareentwicklung
- Du bringst zusätzlich Erfahrung in relevanten Bereichen, z.B. im Betrieb von Kubernetes-basierten Diensten in einer Public Cloud wie AWS, oder in hardwarenaher Softwareentwicklung mit Embedded Linux
