The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities for large-scale industrial energy storage projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support our operations, with specific experience in the energy sector preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end procurement processes for energy storage projects, with a proven ability to optimize cost, ensure compliance, and support timely deliveryDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgetsSource and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors according to established criteriaNegotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and deliveryPrepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentationMonitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligationsCollaborate with project teams to identify procurement requirements and specificationsMaintain inventory control systems and implement cost-saving initiativesEnsure adherence to company procurement policies and proceduresPrepare regular procurement reports and analytics for management reviewManage supplier relationships across multicultural teams, demonstrating strong communication skills in diverse environmentsRequired QualificationsFluent German SpeakerBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the energy sectorStrong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiationProficiency in procurement software and ERP systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of EU procurement standards and regulationsExperience with international sourcing and global supply chainsFamiliarity with local tax considerations and logistics requirementsProfessional certification in procurement or supply chain management (CPSM, CPM, CSCP)Experience working with multicultural teamsDemonstrated history of achieving measurable results in procurement optimizationOur CultureAt Fluence, our culture is the foundation that drives our ambitious growth strategy and fuels our mission to transform the future of energy.
