The site of Erlangen in Germany is focused on Power Train Systems Division. Our department is looking for a VIE Junior R&D Project for 12 months within the team. We research, develop and test HV components and systems for the electric powertrain of hybrid and pure electric vehicles. Your challenges?You will coordinate and be responsible for small to big work packages and projects in your project area, ensuring the on-time delivery of the results to the internal (opt. external) customer within the calculated budget and in the required qualityYou are actively involved in the strategic direction of the companyYou support the R&D eAxle Management team by creating analysis', cost breakdowns, presentations, creating / updating process documents and instructionsYou are actively involved in developing strategies and improving processesYou work closely with the overall Technical Project Manager in the area of HV drivetrainsYou independently define work packages, ensure the progress in coordination with the technical department and ensure the delivery of technical components according to requirementsYou have first leadership responsibility within your respective project scope and promote cooperation between the project, the employees and the line functionsYou support to plan the budget, schedule and implement it to the project plan and linked systems Lets talk about youYou have successfully completed a degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study.Ideally you have already gained first years of professional experience in the development of automotive products as well as the corresponding process knowledge (ISO / TS, APQP, Automotive SPICE, ISO)Ideally, you already have sound experience in managing small or even complex projects, ideally in the automotive environmentIdeally, you have knowledge in the area of electric or hybrid drivesBased on your experience your level of autonomy will rise and responsibility will increaseYou are also fluent in English, ideally also fluent in German and/or FrenchYou have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinkingYou are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy Please, don't forget to apply in English to facilitate the process with our managers. Why Valeo?To participate in innovative projects with our expertsTo be part of an inclusive and multicultural companyFor career opportunities at national or international levelTo be a committed link in favor of green mobilityTo find meaning in your commitment=> Recruitment process in several steps: first exchange with the talent acquisition specialist, interview with your future management and then with site human resources department.  We are ready, and you ?
