I'm supporting the Founder of a fast-moving, early-stage tech company in Berlin who has built something genuinely exciting — and is now looking for the right technical co-founder to take it from "working product with paying customers" to a category-defining platform.

You'd be joining at

, working shoulder-to-shoulder with a commercially strong, strategically minded Founder who moves fast, listens, and wants a genuine partner — not a hired gun.
The product sits at the intersection of
AI, financial operations, workflows, and automation
. Customers love what they're seeing, and the roadmap is driven directly by real-world use cases that need solving now.
You'll have full freedom to shape:
- the
architecture
(nothing is rigid yet — you'll define it) - the
engineering culture - the
hiring strategy - AI/ML integration choices
- and ultimately, the
technical direction of the company

The Person We're Looking For
You should be someone who:
- Has
deep Computer Science fundamentals - Has built and scaled systems as a CTO, Tech Founder, or early engineering leader
- Isn't afraid to be hands-on in the early months
- Loves moving quickly and keeping things lean
- Enjoys speaking with customers and shaping product direction
- Has a strong "bias for action" and thrives in ambiguity
- Wants to build a small, exceptional engineering team
- Feels energised by early-stage ownership, not overwhelmed by it
Bonus: some German language capability (or willingness to learn), given a portion of the customer base operates within German financial/legal frameworks.
