Content Strategy Specialist (German Market)

Location: Remote – open to candidates based in Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, or the UK

Contract Type: Full-time Contract (Salaried Subcontractor or Employer of Record)

Start Date: ASAP (within 30 days)

Engagement Length: 12–18 months

About the Role

We are looking for a Content Strategy Specialist to join an international curation and content team supporting one of the world's leading AI-driven platforms.

In this role, you will help improve content understanding and user experience by mapping communities, labeling content, and identifying relationships between online discussions, culture, and trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the international curation, community, and content teams to implement and refine content strategy.
  • Map communities and categorize content based on culture, genre, trends, and audience.
  • Label and tag online content to support machine learning models and improve recommendations.
  • Review and ensure labeling accuracy and compliance with content and policy guidelines.
  • Perform QA of ML outputs and assist in building datasets for model training.
  • Identify common patterns, trends, and insights based on content analysis.
Requirements
  • Native or C1/C2 level proficiency in German.
  • Strong understanding of German culture, trends, and online communities.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • 2+ years of experience in Content Creation, Content Strategy, or Content Moderation.
  • Experience working with or assessing digital content.
  • Passion for internet culture and social media platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a successful content creator or curator on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram.
  • Experience as a moderator or community manager on Reddit or similar online communities.
  • Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
