We have a rare and exciting opportunity as we seek a Product Director for our Builders Platform department at ImmoScout24.

This role is pivotal in enhancing and optimizing the consumer search experience across the ImmoScout24 marketplace, as well as leading the development and improvement of our Android and iOS applications.

Additionally this role takes ownership of the core backend services our products are built upon. Your ability to engage directly with engineering teams on technical topics will be critical for success in the role.

How Your Role Will Look Like

• Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for search and mobile platforms, ensuring ImmoScout24 remains the market leader in property search.
• Drive the improvement of the consumer search experience, leveraging data-driven insights, user feedback, and industry best practices to enhance search functionality, filters, and user interface across all platforms.
• Lead the development and optimization of the Android and iOS applications, focusing on usability, performance, and feature enhancements to provide a seamless mobile experience for our users.
• Manage a team of product and technical leaders, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and alignment with company goals.
• Run the backend services that power the product org of ImmoScout24, specifically our identity platform, checkout systems, Listings and Geo services.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data analytics, marketing, and customer support, to align strategies, prioritize initiatives, and drive successful execution.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, user behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in search and mobile experiences.
• Effectively communicate search and mobile strategies, initiatives, and results to executive leadership, fostering a culture of transparency and alignment.

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in B2C-related roles, preferably in the online marketplaces or consumer search products.
• Proven track record of at least 3 years in a leadership roles (Head Of, Director or equivalent).
• Understanding of mobile application development, and user experience (UX) principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive optimization efforts.
• Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop innovative approaches to enhance search and mobile capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
• Prior industry experience or academic degree in computer science, information systems or a technical field advantageous.
• Fluent in English and preferably in German
• Experience leveraging AI tools to drive problem-solving and productivity, maintaining effective human oversight and judgement.
