Job Description

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for our international client within the real estate industry in Düsseldorf, Germany. 

Our client is the world's global market leader in hybrid working and offers an unparalleled platform that supports thousands of businesses and more than 8 million customers across 120 countries. With an emphasis on technology and product innovation they offer flexible and sustainable work solutions to professionals of all kinds whether working from home, on the road, in hubs, in regional / local offices or at collaborative headquarters. With a growth rate of 30% year on year, our client is set to expand its network to 30,000 locations over the next decade.

Our client is already six times the size of their nearest competitor. In the next 12 months, they are on track to add a thousand new buildings to the network. Their customers include 80% of the Fortune 500 with household names including Google, Amazon, HSBC and BMW plus thousands of fast-growing businesses and start-ups.

Area Sales Manager: What will you be doing?

This is a job for a 'hunter'. Your focus will be generating new clients and closing deals daily to maximise revenue for your territory. You will:

  • Have the freedom to define and roll-out the sales approach for your area; taking responsibility for the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Carry out the promotional and networking events / activities to deliver on your sales targets
  • Build relationships with potential business clients and brokers to sell them our added-value services and products
  • Maximise sales performance for your area and ensure critical KPIs are met and exceeded

What you'll need… 

We're looking for a born networker with a natural ability to build relationships with customers; someone who has a passion for consultative selling. This will suit:

  • Skilled relationship managers who can generate and grow long-term client partnerships
  • Excellent team players / communicators with fluent English
  • Practical solution sellers who take a hands-on approach and are driven to achieve results
