Senior Manager Commercial Excellence (m/w/d)

In this role, you will lead the cross-functional preparation and implementation of local marketing and sales initiatives in close collaboration with the Commercial Director.
You will work closely with International/Global, the local Sales and Medical Affairs functions to develop and execute local and international initiatives for Amicus approved products in Germany and support of DACH region. You will monitor impact by setting and measuring business relevant KPIs, analyze and integrate insights to provide recommendations for decision-making. Additionally, you will ensure compliance of any material, training and external communication with all policies and procedures as well as local regulatory and legal requirements.
What will your activities as "Senior Manager Commercial Excellence (m/f/x)" involve?
- Drive the development, execution, and tracking of the local Commercial Plan in line with Global/International strategy
- Lead the local brand team to ensure cross-functional alignment and develop tailored communication and strategic initiatives for HCPs, patients, and key stakeholders
- Implement sales and marketing activities, including:
- Localization of global marketing materials and campaigns
- Translation of scientific content into impactful external communication in collaboration with Medical Affairs
- Content adaptation for omnichannel use with the Omnichannel Manager
- Sales team training preparation with the National Sales Manager
- Compliance approval for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Monitor sales activities and performance data, create integrated dashboards and reports for field teams and management
- Support operational excellence, targeting, and CRM optimization in close collaboration with Global Decision Support
- Lead market research and competitive intelligence projects, including secondary data analysis and field input
- Support business reviews, forecasting, and performance tracking with the Commercial Director
- Manage external agencies, contracts, and financial processes effectively
- Oversee the commercial budget together with the Commercial Director and Finance
What requirements should you bring as "Senior Manager Commercial Excellence (m/f/x)"?
- Min 5 years of experience in commercial roles in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry and track record of achieving business goals. Ideally commercial operations/ excellence and marketing experience preferably in a rare disease indication.
- Substantial experience in
- Product Marketing and product launches
- Implementation of Marketing initiatives and sales force support
- Strategic planning and market analysis
- Implementation of sales force analytic tools, dashboards and CRM systems (e.g. Veeva)
- Definition and monitoring of key performance and sales force effectiveness indicators
- Experience in Strategic and Operational Product Marketing and the successful development, implementation and monitoring of commercial initiatives in a cross-functional and international set-up as well as with external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the health care system and its various stakeholders in Germany and good understanding of Germanys reimbursement processes
- Hybrid working - 3 days in office (Tues, Wed, Thur)
- Travel: up to 40 %
- Fluent in German and high proficiency in English language
