The Commercial Operations Manager (m/f/x) plays a mission-critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of commercial contracts and driving operational efficiency across the sales process. This role serves as the operational hub that connects Sales, Project Management, Finance, Legal, Commercial Contracting, and Operations—ensuring that deals move from agreement to delivery without friction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead contract execution workflows, ensuring all internal reviews, approvals, and signatures are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales and internal stakeholders (Project Management, Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure alignment on pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial Contracting team to facilitate timely review and processing of agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, and sales contracts, ensuring all commercial elements are correctly captured.
  • Manage contract-related data in CRM and contract lifecycle tools, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and actionable.
  • Monitor contract performance post-signing, flag key obligations and risks, and coordinate follow-ups with relevant teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements in sales processes and tools that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
  • Partner with Finance on revenue forecasting, billing milestones, and revenue recognition aligned with contract terms.
  • Support the sales team with documentation and administrative coordination during the proposal and order intake process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial operations, or contract execution, preferably within energy, renewables, or complex project-based industries.
  • Business fluent English language skills;
    Chinese language skills are highly prefered.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and enterprise contracting workflows.
  • Experience supporting large, high-value technical contracts (e.g., EPC, product + service models).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with an ability to coordinate across functions and drive accountability.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with the energy storage, power systems, or renewable energy industry is strongly preferred.
