Part of your DAY-TO-DAY WITH US

  • Responsibility for general ledger accounting:
    You will be responsible for the general ledger accounting of our German company and ensure the correct recording of intercompany transactions between the parent company and the subsidiary.
  • Coordination of financial statement preparation:
    You will actively coordinate and organise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and tax requirements, and ensure their timely and high-quality completion.
  • Preparation of accounting:
    You will play a central role in preparing and ensuring the proper recording of business transactions in compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
  • Monitoring international processes:
    You will monitor and support international transactions in the area of accounts receivable and accounts payable, and actively contribute to the optimisation of financial processes.
  • Contact person for external stakeholders
    : You will act as a competent contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and banks and maintain important relationships that are essential to the success of our company.
  • Collaboration on projects:
    You will have the opportunity to actively participate in exciting projects to optimise operational processes and introduce a new accounting system, thereby contributing significantly to the further development of our company.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE

  • You have successfully completed commercial training or a degree in business administration, finance and accounting, taxation, financial management, or a comparable field.
  • You have solid professional experience (approx. 5 years) in accounting for medium-sized companies or in auditing.
  • You are confident in using common accounting software (DIAMANT or SAP knowledge is a big plus) and have a high level of proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Your working style is friendly, but also precise and structured, supported by a strong understanding of numbers.
  • You grasp new topics quickly and can quickly familiarise yourself with new areas of responsibility.
  • Experience in corporate accounting and in the conversion and digitisation of financial processes is an advantage.
  • You're native, or work at a professional level in
    German & English (mandatory)
    . Spanish or French would also be an advantage in our company
  • You live in the Cologne area and enjoy spending two days per week on-site
    in our beautiful Cologne office and joining our monthly team days.
