Major Responsibilities
The Account Manager will build an active opportunity pipeline through customer interactions to exceed revenue goals. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of accounts in your assigned territory by generating new business opportunities from both existing and new business relationships.
Specific Duties
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales plans
- Build strong relationships with your clients and increase the business brand awareness within the market
- Manage and build a strong Short/Medium/Long term opportunity pipeline to reach your quarterly goals
- Submits and maintains accurate quarterly forecasts through Opportunity Management within
- Interact effectively with customers and partners through diverse selling efforts, including video conferences, face-to-face visits, calls and social media interactions
- Gain a strong technical understanding of ELS product content and value propositions with the goal of cross-selling the ELS product line
- Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the assigned territory with detailed action plans
- Provide market feedback to the organization such as customer needs, market trends, and competitive intel
- Actively use to maintains and updates territory data for accounts and record your activities
- Generate customer quotations for ELS and Axxora products following pricing guidelines
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships at all levels within the organization
Requirements
Education
- Bacholors degree in a life sciences related field, Masters preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in the life sciences market.
- Previous experience in the drug discovery and development process preferred.
- Prior hands-on laboratory experience and understanding of clinical work flows is preferred.
Skills
- Champions strong customer service-oriented culture
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and independent thinker, with aptitude to work autonomously
- Solid problem-solving and analytical ability
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be a team player and develop and maintain excellent working relations within the organization
- Strong systems knowledge in Microsoft 360 Suite and
