Student assistant (m/f/d) in the field of business management with a focus on knowledge management

For over 35 years, the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin has stood for excellence in production science. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between science and practice in the field of industrial production and offer application-oriented system solutions for the entire spectrum of industrial tasks – from product development to the production process, maintenance of capital goods, and recycling of products to the design and management of factory operations.

Our interdisciplinary team in the Business Management division is comprised of experts from various disciplines. We bring extensive expertise in applied research, strategic research planning, and organizational development. Furthermore, we have many years of experience in sustainability and knowledge management, as well as in managing innovations at various levels.

We are seeking a student assistant to support scientific and industrial projects at the IPK Berlin location, focusing on knowledge management and skills development.

What you will do
  • Participation in the implementation of national and international research and industry projects.
  • Scientific research, preparation of texts and presentations, support for publications.
  • Support in the development of concepts, solutions, and reporting within the framework of research and industry projects.
 

What you bring to the table
  • You are currently studying one of the following disciplines: Economics, Industrial Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, or a similar program with an interest in scientific research.
  • Confident use of all common MS Office applications, especially Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Ideally, a strong interest in artificial intelligence and initial experience with the use of AI in the context of business management.
  • High level of initiative as well as independent, results-oriented, and structured work.
  • Experience in conducting scientifically sound research, including systematic acquisition, indexing, and preparation of literature.
  • Practical knowledge in writing scientific texts and preparing presentations.
  • Experience in project management is an advantage, but not required.
  • Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team.
