About the Role We are looking for a self-driven and detail-oriented Localization Specialist to join our in-house localization team. Reporting to the Localization Manager, this role combines translation expertise with cross-functional collaboration. As our German Localization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless translation and localization of marketing content from English into German — maintaining our brand voice for the DACH market while adapting content for our German-speaking target audience of IT experts.  As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for the complete asset creation process, from start to finish. This includes localizing marketing content for our website, product localization and a diverse range of other asset types from various NinjaOne teams. This role is tailor-made for a true linguist with a passion for technically challenging content, an ownership mentality, and excellent time management skills Location - Berlin, Germany What You'll Be Doing   

  • Machine translation post-editing of marketing, product, and sales-related content from English into German
  • Conduct research into industry-specific terminology to ensure high-quality translations within a technology-centric SaaS business environment 
  • Own the end-to-end localization process of assets, including MTPE, SEO adaptation, UI/UX review, LQA and adaptation workflows, asset finalization processes, and additional localization best practices that make us stand out in our target market 
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments 
  • Perform other duties as needed 
   About You
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Prior localization experience as a translator, interpreter, or in a similar role 
  • Experience in translating, writing, and adapting technical content
  • Strong interest in IT topics; experience in writing within an IT context is a strong plus 
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks 
  • Proactive mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with SEO best practices 
  • Experience with TMS or CAT tools (e.g., memoQ) 
  • WordPress experience or proficiency with other content management systems
  • Certification in Linguistics or a related field
