About the Role

As a Forward-Deployed Agentic Engineer focused on Business Leadership, you are the strategic owner of our most critical customer engagements. With a strong technical understanding, you will lead cross-functional delivery squads, driving projects from initial business case to successful implementation and value realization. You are the primary interface for senior customer stakeholders, responsible for defining the project's strategic roadmap, managing expectations, mitigating risks, and ensuring the delivery aligns perfectly with the customer's business objectives. You are a skilled communicator, a strategic thinker, and an exceptional project manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Project Ownership: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex agentic automation projects for strategic enterprise accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior customer stakeholders (C-level, VPs, Directors), managing expectations, communicating progress, and resolving escalations.
  • Business Value Realization: Work closely with customers to define clear business objectives, capture detailed requirements, and ensure the delivered solution generates maximum tangible value.
  • Roadmap & Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project roadmaps, resource plans, and risk registers. Drive efficient decision-making and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate internal FDAE archetypes (Architects, Builders) and other Otera teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Pre-Sales & Expansion: Partner with our CRO and VP Global Sales to identify and qualify new opportunities, present business cases, and drive expansion within existing accounts.
  • Advocate for the Customer: Champion customer needs internally, translating business insights into actionable feedback for Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
About You
  • Strategic Project Leader: 8+ years of experience in project/program management, consulting, or a similar customer-facing leadership role within a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Technically Proficient: Not a daily coder, but highly fluent in software development, cloud platforms, and complex system integrations, with the ability to engage confidently in technical conversations.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You are a compelling presenter, a skilled negotiator, and a masterful storyteller. You can simplify complex information and build strong, trust-based relationships with senior executives.
  • Business Acumen: You understand enterprise business processes, can identify pain points, and articulate the ROI of technical solutions. You are comfortable challenging assumptions and driving tough decisions.
  • Results-Oriented: You have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects under pressure and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Leadership & Influence: You inspire confidence, manage diverse teams effectively, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with AI/ML projects, automation, or a strong background in a specific industry vertical (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing).
