Role Description

The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for developing engaging, creative, and on-brand digital content that drives audience engagement and strengthens the company's online presence. Working closely with the marketing and design teams, this role conceptualizes and produces high-quality visuals, videos, and copy tailored for various social media platforms. The ideal candidate combines creativity, storytelling, and data-driven insights to produce content that resonates with target audiences and supports brand objectives. This role requires a balance of artistic vision and strategic thinking to deliver impactful digital communication in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and publish high-quality content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.).
  • Develop creative concepts, campaigns, and storytelling strategies that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Produce short-form videos, graphics, and visual assets optimized for each platform's format and audience.
  • Write engaging captions, headlines, and copy that capture attention and encourage interaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content consistency and brand alignment.
  • Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and cultural moments to create timely, relevant content.
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely posting and alignment with promotional and seasonal campaigns.
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics to evaluate performance and optimize content strategy.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and support community management initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, algorithms, and best practices in digital content creation.
  • Coordinate with influencers, photographers, and videographers when needed for content production.
  • Support paid social media campaigns through creative asset development and A/B testing.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints and ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Proven ability to create engaging social media content (portfolio or examples required).
  • Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, or CapCut.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Excellent written and visual storytelling skills with attention to tone, style, and detail.
  • Basic photography and videography skills are highly preferred.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset, adaptability, and eagerness to experiment with new formats and ideas.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
