G is looking for a Head of Finance (m/f/d)

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to lead our finance activities. Do you enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment? Would you like to take part in a NewSpace endeavor to revolutionize the space industry? Then apply for us.

Your Tasks:

  • Lead the management of key financial processes including budgeting, planning, forecasting, annual closures, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for investors, banks, and other financial partners, ensuring transparent communication and fostering strong, trust-based relationships
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of cost centers, in-house accounting structures, and controlling systems.
  • Manage liquidity planning and cash flow optimization to ensure financial stability.
  • Coordinate all tax-related matters across operational sites in Europe.
  • Support project delivery through project controlling and monitoring of financial KPIs.
  • Identify, analyse, and resolve financial and business risks while uncovering opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Provide insights and strategic recommendations to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and shareholder value.
  • Analyze existing and develop new business models in close collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional finance experience in Germany within industrial or technical industries.
  • Strong track record in setting up professional reporting, liquidity management, and controlling systems.
  • Experience with accounting for development projects in a technical/industrial environment.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven leadership skills with a collaborative, trustworthy, and empathetic approach.
  • Motivation to continuously optimize processes and add value in a growth environment.
