As our Procurement Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping our order execution - ensuring quality, speed, and cost efficiency from the ground up. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you'll own sourcing, onboarding, negotiating competitive terms, and building strong, lasting partnerships that fuel our growth.

This position is based in Berlin with a hybrid work model.

Tasks
  • Own the supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation to ensure the highest quality and best deals.
  • Drive quoting speed and competitiveness by selecting the right suppliers, negotiating cost and lead time, and placing orders with precision.
  • Win together—align procurement and quality requirements with internal teams to build solutions that truly work.
  • Solve fast—manage technical clarifications, change requests, and participate in supplier performance meetings.
  • Build to last—onboard suppliers with rigor, educate them on MakerVerse standards, and strengthen partnerships
  • Know the details—maintain clean, up-to-date systems and own the supplier database with hundreds of suppliers
  • Fuel improvement—drive strategic supplier development initiatives and contribute to broader business process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Execution driven mindset with 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management in manufacturing industry (ideally in on-demand manufacturing)
  • Proven expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation, with strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
  • Problem solver by nature — comfortable making fast decisions and taking corrective action when things go wrong
  • Strong communicator — negotiating better prices or faster delivery times with suppliers
  • Thrives under pressure — you can handle a high-paced workload, maintaining focus and efficiency as new orders come in
  • Proficiency in Excel and working with large supplier databases is essential to navigate and organize complex sourcing data
  • Customer-first — you're always steering supplier performance to positively impact customer experience.
  • Team player — collaborate closely across disciplines, give direct feedback, and celebrate shared wins.
  • Fluent English required; German is a strong plus.
