Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)
Location: Dresden, Germany (Full Time)
Who we are
We're proud to be a trusted partner to ESMC, delivering turnkey facility project solutions
and specialized system engineering services — always tailored to the unique needs of our
clients. Our teams work in a highly dynamic, international environment where quality,
compliance, and reliability are essential. We value collaboration, ownership, and a
practical "get-it-done" mindset.
About the Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services,
managing suppliers, and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement aligned with project
requirements and company policies. You will work closely with internal stakeholders
(engineering, project management, finance, and site teams) to support smooth operations
and successful project execution.
Key responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities: RFQs, bid comparisons, supplier
selection, PO creation, and delivery follow-up
• Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring best value, quality, and reliable lead times
• Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, payment terms, delivery, warranties) and
support contract finalization
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify technical and commercial
requirements
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, and expediting; resolve delays or non conformities proactively
• Maintain procurement documentation, supplier records, and audit-ready files in
line with internal processes
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness) and drive
continuous improvement
• Support cost optimization initiatives and ensure compliance with procurement
policies and ethical standards
• Collaborate with finance on invoice clarifications, GR/IR topics, and paymentrelated documentation
• Contribute to reporting on procurement status, savings, risks, and supplier KPIs
Your profile
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement,
Engineering, or a related field (Master's is a plus)
• Proven experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in industrial,
construction, facility, or project environments
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and
documentation standards
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP
or similar) is an advantage
• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under time
constraints
• Fluent in English; German language skills are preferred (depending on stakeholder
needs)
• Willingness to work onsite/with project teams in Dresden as required
• Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS or equivalent) are a plus
What we offer
• A stable full-time position in an international, project-driven environment
• Opportunity to work on impactful facility and engineering projects
• Professional development and learning opportunities
• Collaborative team culture with clear responsibilities and ownership
• Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and qualifications
