Indirect Procurement Specialist

Our client develops solutions that transmit electricity from the power plant to the end consumer.

We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist (M/F/d) at the Dresden site as soon as possible.

Tasks
- Place and follow-up on POs up to closure of POs
- Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes
- Creation of Supplier data in SAP
- Update of Supplier and PO data
- Follow up of on invoicing with requestor as well as the service center
- Ensure approval process is followed
- Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters
- Good interpersonal skills.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
- Excellent oral and written English and German communication skills
- Strong customer service and results oriented mindset, pro-active and problem-solving attitude
- Good SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, milestones and deliverable
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
