As a Coordinator Planning, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials between our internal production sites in Asia and our customers.
Your Scope:
- SAP Planning and Execution: Actively working within our ERP system, SAP. This involves placing Purchase Orders (PO) with our internal production sites and monitoring order processing to ensure a continuous supply of finished products.
- Inventory Management: You will be responsible for the independent material planning of your assigned customer base to maintain the predefined inventory levels for finished products. You analyze and visualize supply scenarios, capacity constraints, and inventory projections to support mid- and long-term planning. Should overstock or obsolete inventory occur, you contribute to find solutions for their use or disposal in collaboration with internal partner departments.
- Customer Calls: Regularly reviewing and managing customer call-offs received via an EDI interface. You will ensure that the production and delivery schedules of our Asian plants are aligned with these call-offs.
- Master Data Management: Ensuring the quality and consistency of data within the SAP system. This includes maintaining, updating, and verifying master data to ensure the correct execution of business processes.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Creating reports and analyses to optimize supply chain processes and derive improvement measures. This includes ad-hoc reporting as needed. You will be able to create and interpret KPIs to evaluate performance.
- Communication & Collaboration: Acting as the central interface between our production sites in Asia, internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Logistics), and customers. Collaborate to ensure aligned demand and inventory strategies.
- Process Optimization and Project Work: Actively contributing to the improvement of logistics processes and the implementation of new tools and systems to increase efficiency. You will also participate in cross-functional projects.
What you should bring to the table:
- Education: Completed training or Bacherlor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in Materials Management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- SAP Skills: Solid and practical experience with SAP, particularly in the MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distributon) modules.
- IT Skills: Excellent Excel skills are mandatory. Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio is desirable. The ability to independently create such reports and KPIs is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, Inventory Excellence, a detail-oriented approach, and problem-solving abilities.
- Language Skills: Fluent English is mandatory, as communication with international partners will take place in English. German is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Intercultural Competence: Experience working with Asian partners and a deep understanding of the business culture and communication styles in the region.
- Personal Strengths: Team player, agility, strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
