Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Sales & Marketing Manager
to lead commercial growth initiatives for our brewery business in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the beer industry, fluency in German, and proven expertise in both sales and marketing. This role will be pivotal in expanding our market presence, strengthening brand awareness, and driving revenue growth across retail, wholesale, and on-trade channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and on-trade partners (bars, restaurants, beer halls).
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements.
  • Marketing & Brand Development
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Oversee digital marketing, social media, and event sponsorships aligned with brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with product development and brewing teams to launch new products.
  • Market Expansion & Analysis
  • Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends and consumer preferences in the beer sector.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor sales and marketing staff.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Language Skills:
    Native or fluent German speaker; strong English proficiency preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Minimum 5 years' experience in the beer, beverage, or FMCG industry.
  • Sales & Marketing Expertise:
    Proven track record in sales growth, distributor management, and brand building.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership:
    Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing teams and external partners.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
