Product Marketing Manager

Our client is a leading innovator in the semiconductor industry, specialising in advanced solutions that power next-generation technologies. To strengthen their business unit, they are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to bridge Sales and Manufacturing and play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy, market positioning, and business growth.
The Product Marketing Manager will define product mix, lead market analysis, and drive the alignment between market demand and production output. Acting as the key interface across business functions, the role combines strategic planning, commercial insight, and cross-functional leadership to ensure product success and meet budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business unit budget planning, ensuring targets are met through effective product and market strategies.
- Define product mix, pricing, and capacity plans aligned with business goals.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and coordinate with planning and operations for delivery optimisation.
- Identify target markets and growth opportunities in the semiconductor segment, analysing market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscapes.
- Determine product roadmaps by evaluating client needs and competitive capabilities.
- Drive new product development objectives related to cost, performance, and time-to-market.
- Lead product exploration and definition processes, collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Define and execute short- and long-term product investment strategies.
- Develop go-to-market campaigns and product marketing strategies, including pricing, advertising, and product launches.
- Manage product positioning, competitive intelligence, and marketing messaging to support sales and business development.
- Support the execution of new product introductions (NPI/NTI) and promotional initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain technical marketing content such as white papers, presentations, newsletters, and product overviews.
- Provide structured feedback to Product Development based on client insights, market data, and competitive analysis.
- Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and technical training sessions, supporting customer engagement and sales enablement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Economics, or Business.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or business planning within a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
- Hands-on experience with Hall sensor technology and a solid understanding of magnetic sensing applications (mandatory).
- Extensive customer-facing and field experience, ideally in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Proven ability to analyse long-term market and technology trends to build effective product roadmaps.
- Solid knowledge of product costing, cost analysis, and activity-based accounting.
- Strong business acumen, combining creativity with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations preferred.
- Background in production or capacity planning is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Skilled in technical writing, capable of producing clear and engaging technical or marketing content for diverse audiences.
- English C1 (minimum) and German (nice to have).
