Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced
DMS (Document Management Services) Scanning Center Manager (SCM)
to join our new DMS team in
Cologne
.

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the process group to fulfill business objectives and ensure long-term business continuity.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:

• Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Provide strategic direction and lead the production and internal service teams at the Cologne location, including direct and indirect personnel responsibility.
• Internal & External Collaboration and Escalation : Act as a key interface to the sales field service, other locations, the Works Council ( Betriebsrat ), and corporate staff departments (IT, HR, Finance, Customer Service, PM, Sales). You will also handle internal and external escalations.
• Customer Satisfaction & Global Standards: Ensure high customer satisfaction. Analyze, adapt, and implement global standards, considering local conditions.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience & Education: A completed university or technical college degree (Hochschul- or Fachhochschulstudium) or a completed Master's certification ( Meisterausbildung ) with several years of professional experience in production.
• Domain & Technical Knowledge: Strong technical affinity and experience in internal sales service ( Vertriebsinnendienst ).
• Proven Ability in Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability in personnel leadership and coaching, and experience in the development and implementation of strategic business processes.
• Other Key Requirements:
• German and English mandatory.
• Initiative and assertiveness.
• Social competence and strong communication skills.
• Goal and results orientation.
• Cost awareness.
• Presentation and moderation skills.
