As Project Manager PV & BESS (f/m/x) you take ownership of the comprehensive management and development of our PV and BESS projects with the aim to deliver high-quality projects that make a positive contribution to the energy transition whilst meeting Zelestra's return targets. As part of this, you maintain an entrepreneurial view on the overall business case and budgets and are the pivotal point for external and internal stakeholders such as Commercial, EPC, and M&A/Investments. As part of a close-knit team that supports each other and collaborates to achieve their goals, you will support the generation of business in Germany and will be responsible for evaluating new business and project opportunities and building and managing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in our renewable energy projects. As an Expert in Project Development (f/m/x) with a deep understanding of the renewable energy market and related regulation and permitting procedures, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Evaluating new business and project opportunities through co-development partnerships or M&A opportunities in Germany focused on large scale PV, BESS and hybrid projects.
• Support the Business Development team in identifying attractive market segments and geographies for PV and BESS development opportunities.
• Performing due diligence processes of development projects alongside internal teams and external advisors.
• Being the Project Manager for onboarded projects, managing and steering the co-development projects and the relationship with the development partner.
• Collaborating with internal Commercial, EPC, M&A/Investment, and Finance teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to support the comprehensive structuring of project during the development phase.
• Monitoring and reporting on development activities, including project and pipeline status, budget, risks and opportunities as well as recommend actions to mitigate project and financial risks.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.

• Relevant and several years of experience and methodological competence in project management and in project development in the renewable energy sector, ideally with a focus on PV & BESS
• Ideally deep experience with grid operators and grid connection processes.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy market in Germany, including PV, BESS and other sustainable energy technologies.
• Extremely high proactivity, open personality and passion for the development of renewable energies.
• Entrepreneurial spirit paired with analytical skills
• Professional communication at all levels combined with strong stakeholder management and ability to build strong relationships
• Native-level German (C1) and a high level of English are required.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
