Tech Lead

We're looking for a Tech Lead who thrives at the intersection of hands-on software development and people leadership for our desktop application team. You'll work on the core of Synera - our desktop platform that connects engineering tools like CAD, simulation, and PLM through a visual programming language. Using C#, C++, and libraries like Parasolid and HOOPS, you'll build the integrations and platform features that our customers rely on daily.

You'll lead a team of experienced software developers: Niklas, Petro, Bhushan, Andrey, and Mark. Together with the Product Manager and UX designer, you'll shape both what we build and how we build it. You'll make technical and architectural decisions for your domain, guide your team members to grow and shine, and ensure we deliver high-quality software that creates real impact for our users.

• Monday: Kick off with the daily stand-up, then dive into bi-weekly sprint planning. Spend the afternoon in a 1:1 with a team member discussing their growth and current projects.
• Tuesday: Pair program on a challenging CAD integration problem in the morning. Review several pull requests after lunch, providing detailed technical feedback.
• Wednesday: Join the team for the sprint retrospective on Wednesday morning and reflect on what worked well and what to improve. In the afternoon, use your focus time to work on feature implementation.
• Thursday: Present your team's sprint results to the company. Meet with your Product Owner and UX designer for the weekly product trio sync to discuss upcoming priorities and technical feasibility.
• Friday: Use Friday for uninterrupted work and planning for next week.

• In 6 months:

• You have a solid understanding of all our core technologies and can shape the future development.

• You understand customer needs and have joined multiple customer workshops together with UX and PM.
• You found a good collaboration mode with your team members and enable them to shine in their roles.

• In 12 months:

• You are able to extend all our core technologies.

• You inspire your team with great ideas that help develop nodes that our customers love.
• You collaborate with the other tech leads on the integration of our current solutions into a new server-based architecture.
• You bring valuable ideas and insights into the leadership circle and strategy meetings of the company.

• You bring strong proficiency in C# and C++, with solid algorithmic and logical thinking skills.
• You have experience with CAD and engineering simulation tools such as FEA or CFD, and understand how engineers use these tools.
• Your English is very good, enabling clear communication with our international team and customers.
