Your Mission

Looking to jump into climate tech and build a company from the inside out? Radical Dot is hiring a Founder Associate (m/f/d) to work 1-1 with the founders on strategy, operations, and growth as we scale our breakthrough process that turns mixed plastic waste into valuable chemical building blocks. If you want a front-row seat to startup building—and real responsibility from day one—you won't get closer than this.

We're an early-stage climate-tech startup searching for a hands-on, structured, proactive generalist with a passion for chemicals/plastics. You'll drive fundraising, streamline operations, and HR topics, power our business development. This is a full-time role with direct exposure to how a climate-tech company is built—decisions, tradeoffs, and wins included.

Tasks

What you can expect

  • Design & Run Our Fundraising Engine (40%)

  • Build compelling Seed materials (deck + data room) that tell our story with clarity and conviction.

  • Translate strategy into numbers: formalize our budget and business plan.

  • Drive grant writing & management to unlock non-dilutive funding.

  • Co-Lead Go-to-Market & Early Revenues (30%)

  • Shape our go-to-market strategy and test it with real prospects.

  • Build and own an early customer pipeline—from outreach to qualified conversations.

  • Craft pitch collateral that turns technical depth into customer value.

  • Build Fast, Elegant Operations (30%)

  • Infuse AI and modern tooling into our workflows to multiply team speed and quality.

  • Streamline Accounting & Procurement (bookkeeping, payments, vendor coordination) for accuracy and flow.

  • Support HR & People (contracts, onboarding) to create a smooth, thoughtful team experience.

  • Amplify Comms & Culture (LinkedIn, internal comms, team rituals and events).

Requirements

Your Skillset

  • 2–5 years' experience in a startup, VC, strategy in a chemical corporate, and/or consulting.
  • Business + science background (chemistry/chemical engineering focus a plus).
  • Outstanding organization and communication, with a love for detail and momentum.
  • Grounding in strategy, finance, and/or startup environments.
  • Comfortable context-switching and owning multiple workstreams with clarity.
  • Confident building processes with modern tools (Notion, HubSpot, Personio, Google Workspace, AI integrations).
  • Excellent English & German, written and spoken.
  • Genuine interest in climate tech, sustainability, the chemical industry and/or plastics, and the startup ecosystem.
