The Role
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing both paid performance and organic marketing teams, aligning all acquisition initiatives under one strategic umbrella. Your goal is to scale our marketing efforts efficiently, increase user quality, and ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team consisting of organic growth & performance marketing
- Define and execute a comprehensive cross-channel acquisition strategy tailored for B2B and B2C audiences
Growth & Innovation
- Identify, prioritize & lead scalable marketing channels (digital and offline) to drive lead generation and customer acquisition
- Experiment with and introduce new acquisition channels beyond traditional performance marketing (e.g., partnerships, field activations, content-led acquisition).
- Continuously optimize campaigns to improve quality, engagement, and LTV of acquired users.
Budget & Performance
- Own acquisition budget allocation and forecast planning
- Analyze and report on key KPIs, including CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and retention performance across B2B and B2C
Quality & Efficiency
- Drive improvements in lead/student quality to reduce churn and boost engagement
- Work closely with Product, Data, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and leverage cross-functional insights
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 6+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or acquisition roles—ideally in both B2B and B2C contexts. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Proven track record in scaling acquisition channels across paid and organic domains.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, SEO tools).
- Comfortable working with large datasets to inform decisions; proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Indicative, Matomo, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus, but not mandatory.
