Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Director to oversee operations at our manufacturing facility. The Site Director will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse team, ensuring the highest level of quality control and analytical testing, and implementing lean management and operational excellence practices.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the manufacturing facility
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including production, quality control, and technical operations
- Implement and maintain lean management and operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
- Lead a team of managers and supervisors, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement
- Communicate with senior management to provide regular updates on site performance and key metrics
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of successful people management and leadership skills
- Extensive experience in quality control, analytical testing, and technical operations within the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding and application of lean management and operational excellence principles
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change and innovation
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
- Overseeing daily operations at the manufacturing facility
- Conducting regular meetings with department heads to assess performance and address any issues
- Collaborating with the quality control and analytical testing teams to ensure compliance with standards
- Implementing lean management principles to improve operational efficiency
- Providing leadership and support to the site management team
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
