YOUR MISSION

  • Engage with users in a scientific and technical context, supporting the adoption and effective use of the Destination Earth Data Lake (DEDL)
  • Provide technical guidance to users on big data services, including access, processing, hosted applications, cloud resources, and deployment blueprints
  • Coordinate across project entities to ensure user feedback is addressed and issues are managed effectively
  • Design and deliver professional learning experiences, applying adult learning theories and fostering community learning
  • Contribute to building a strong user community around DestinE, ensuring their needs are met and their voice is heard

 YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS

  • Bring a proven track record in user engagement within scientific or technical environments, ideally earth system sciences or related fields
  • Significant technical expertise in big data processing and cloud-based services
  • Skilled in coordination across complex projects, ensuring smooth feedback loops and issue resolution
  • Experience in instructional design, adult learning, and applying learning theories in professional development
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of DestinE, or earth system training — an advantage but not essential
