Advisory & Financing Solutions (A&FS) is UniCredit's center of excellence for Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory and Capital Markets transactions in top-level strategic dialogues. Sectors Advisory within A&FS follows an integrated industry and M&A origination and execution approach with in-depth knowledge of Telecommunication/Media/Technology, Industrials/Mobility, Consumer, Healthcare & Retail as well as Natural Resources, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors for investment banking and corporate clients. Within this setup, DealSync Germany is our dedicated M&A solution for SME clients.
What you'll be doing- Working with UniCredit's corporate coverage to originate transactions leveraging DealSync, UniCredit's digital platform that uses AI algorithms and a broad network of users to help small and mid-cap (SME) buyers and sellers to find the right counterparties for M&A activity.
- Reviewing and quality verification of target lists and preparing for client
- Project management in a global setup within the UniCredit Group to align in several DealSync related enhancements and cross border transactions.
- Presentation / Marking of DealSync to SME client universe and cooperation partners
- Handling investor communication in sell-side and buy-side transactions
- Respective interaction and communication with other advisors of our clients (e.g. legal, tax etc)
- Minimum of four years practical M&A execution experience in an investment bank, M&A boutique, or equivalent
- Advanced excel skills
- Experienced in pitching for and originating M&A mandates
- Excellent skills in the use of standard office software and data bases and drafting and formatting meaningful client presentations (PowerPoint) and documentations.
- Strong analytical skills and quick grasp
- Strong oral and written skills in both German and English languages
- Team player who is used to work and operate within different team compositions.
- Self-starter who operates self-dependently under respective guidance
- Used to assume own responsibilities and aware of respective accountability.
- Strong work ethic and commitment towards client and project work-imposed deadlines
- The position requires the special knowledge and reliability according to WpHG (2. FiMANoG) and 1a and 6 WpHGMaAnzV
