Role Description
IT Audio Visual Support Engineer
Location: Munich, Germany
Contract: 1 year B2B
Work Model: 100% onsite, 5 days per week
Language Requirement: German (mandatory)
We're looking for an experienced IT Audio Visual Support Engineer to join our team in Munich. This role is fully onsite at the client's office, supporting a mix of infrastructure, customer experience environments, and AV systems. Remote work is not possible.
Required Skills and Experience
• 3–4 years of experience in onsite infrastructure support
• Windows Server administration
• Azure Identity Management
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network and compute environments
• Solid understanding of WAN, LAN and WLAN
• German language proficiency
Desired Skills
• Audiovisual (AV) support
• Azure fundamentals
Key Responsibilities
1. Onsite Infrastructure Support
• Provide smart hands support for Experience Center network and compute environments
• Handle rack and stack, provisioning and decommissioning in the on-prem lab
• Support incident and problem management for network and core compute
• Manage configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure the server room operates smoothly during business hours

. Experience Environments
• Deploy and support onsite experiences and demos
• Perform daily checks of demo environments
• Support presenters, account managers, customers and EC staff
• Maintain inventory of demo and experience assets
• Administer Azure sub-resources and subscriptions
• Support centralized delivery projects and automation
• Act as local technical SME for the Experience Platform
• Build and manage Azure environments for hybrid cloud demos
3. Customer Demos, Events and Engagements
• Support attendees and presenters during visits and events
• Coordinate technical guidance and device setups
• Manage on-site device support and inventory during events
4. Technology Asset and Security Lifecycle
• Handle warranties, RMAs and device repairs
• Recommend improvements and new equipment
• Support process and technology optimisation
• Coordinate recycling of retired equipment
• Work with OEM partners, AV suppliers and local IT teams
• Schedule downtime and manage service partners

. AV Readiness and Meeting Room Support
• Operate and maintain AV systems in meeting rooms and theatres
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
• Provide immediate AV break-fix support
• Assist with room setup and refresh projects
• Maintain AV inventory and cleanliness
