WHAT YOU WILL DO

We're building a tool that allows our customers to create specialized multi-agent systems using their own LLMs, connected to Synera workflows as tools. It is written in Python, using the FastAPI and LangGraph frameworks, and running alongside our existing .NET services, communicating via REST API and web sockets.

You'll join the Agentic Ants – our newly formed, highly motivated team of Danny, Ahmed, Thorsten, Hernan and Ram. As Tech Lead, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape not just the technology, but also how the team works together. In this role, you'll have the chance to actively work on both hands-on software development and management tasks. You'll collaborate closely with the product manager and UX designer to shape the product vision, make key technical decisions with flexibility and creativity, and ensure your team delivers solutions that are not just functional, but transformative for our users.

What a week at Synera could look like:

• Monday: Lead the bi-weekly sprint planning with your team, aligning on priorities and breaking down the multi-agent system architecture into actionable tasks.

• Tuesday: Dive deep into code - reviewing pull requests and pair programming with a team member on a complex AI integration. In the afternoon, participate in bi-weekly check-ins with your team members.

• Wednesday: Facilitate a sprint retrospective with your team to reflect on learnings and improvement potential, and spend the rest of the day focused on coding.

• Thursday: Present ideas and progress to other developer teams and internal users at the sprint review. Sync with the product manager and UX lead on user feedback and upcoming feature priorities.

• Friday: Work on hands-on implementation - perhaps integrating a new tool into the agent stack or refining the multi-agent communication protocols.

In 6 months: 

• You'll have a deep understanding of Synera's Multi-Agent System implementation and technical stack.

• Your team will have shipped meaningful improvements to the agent platform that our customers actively use.

• You'll have established clear processes and team rituals that enable autonomous, high-performing work.

• You built a tight relationship with your team members and are responsible for their technical and personal development.

In 12 months: 

• You'll have shaped the product creativity of your team and the architectural decisions that define our multi-agent capabilities.

• Your leadership will have contributed to growing the team and building a strong engineering culture.

• You'll have helped position Synera as a leader in AI-powered engineering automation.

ABOUT US WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview.

• You are experienced in guiding software developers and know how to balance hands-on coding with team leadership.

• You see the big picture and have shaped the architecture of software products before.

• You are proficient in Python and FastAPI or a similar backend library.

• You've worked on a product that makes use of LLMs. If you have experience with LangGraph – it's a great bonus
