Job Overview
TE Connectivity's GAS Account-to-Report team is part of TEIS (TE Information Solutions) and has global responsibility for TE's Finance, Tax and Treasury application solutions. We are looking to engage an SAP Senior Functional Consultant (m/f/d) with experience in SAP ECC and S/4 Finance module as well as financial process business knowledge. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP Finance Consultant (m/f/d) with a strong background in S/4HANA and SAP ECC to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation, support, and optimization of SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules, ensuring seamless integration across business processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end finance transformations and drive SAP innovation in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, configuration and implementation of SAP Finance solutions (FI/CO) on TE's S/4HANA platform
  • Provide expert guidance in defining finance business requirements, process design, system integration, and end-user support
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand finance requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
  • Lead SAP Finance transformation initiatives, including migration from ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring best practices and compliance with financial regulations
  • Develop and manage functional specifications, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and SAP best practices
  • Oversee and conduct system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for all finance-related modules in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA
  • Lead and mentor junior consultants, providing knowledge transfer and training to internal teams and clients
  • Provide guidance on SAP FI/CO integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS) and third-party systems
  • Lead data migration activities, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA
  • Prepare documentation, including configuration guides, test plans, and training materials for end-users
  • Conduct regular meetings with business leaders and IT teams to track project progress and resolve issues

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules, with significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Finance end-to-end processes, including financial accounting, controlling, Accounts Payable / Receivable, and integration with other SAP modules
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations and transformations
  • In-depth understanding of SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance functionality such as Parallel Ledgers, New Fixed Assets and Financial Close processes
  • Solid understanding of SAP finance integration with other enterprise systems and third-party applications
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules and new features
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and UI/UX design principles
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, audit, and compliance standards
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools
