RTM Process Engineer
vor 2 Wochen
About the role
We are looking for an RTM Process Engineer (m/f/x) to join us on our mission to make lightweight components fit for the 21st century. You'll take ownership of developing and scaling resin injection and infusion processes — from one-off prototypes to automated series production — within a fast-moving, hands-on environment.
Are you excited to work on the core manufacturing processes behind next-generation composite components? Do you want to build and run advanced RTM and infusion setups, and turn your process knowledge into robust production systems? Do you thrive in a collaborative engineering team where your ideas turn quickly into working solutions? Are you motivated by the opportunity to help shape the future of sustainable manufacturing — and make a real impact in the climate emergency? Then you will love Holy.
What you will do
- Be part of a motivated engineering team to develop, industrialize, and automate the first upcyclable carbon fiber manufacturing technology.
- Design, test, and validate resin injection and infusion processes for a range of composite components and material systems.
- Build and operate injection setups in-house, from prototype molds to production-grade tooling.
- Create and optimize the manufacturing process and tweak parameters for the best possible outcomes.
- Work closely with automation engineers, designers, and technicians to develop robust, scalable processes for series production.
- Develop advanced composite solutions tailored to customer needs — from one-off functional prototypes to high-volume, cost-efficient components.
- Use the best equipment in our state-of-the-art workshop and lab to iterate quickly and test at industrial scale.
- Share your process know-how across the team and help set technical standards for our robotic production system.
- This role can grow into an expert, generalist, or team lead position — and we'll regularly align on your personal development goals.
What we are looking for
- You have 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and running composite injection or infusion processes in an industrial setting.
- You've worked in fast-paced environments — ideally in automotive, aerospace, or high-performance composites production
- You enjoy collaborating with engineers, designers, and technicians to solve real-world production challenges.
- You have an autonomous, hands-on working attitude and enjoy building things yourself.
- You understand composite manufacturing processes end-to-end — from layup to cure — and can zoom in on the technical details when needed.
- You're motivated to help move from prototype to production and build robust, scalable processes.
- You're curious about new materials, tooling concepts, and infusion techniques, and want to help define best practices in a young, growing company.
- You thrive in an agile, fast-moving environment where results matter more than titles.
What we care about
- Honesty: Being authentic and honest creates trust toward colleagues, customers, and business partners.
- Optimism: Positivity is the fuel for all good decisions. Smile and spread positivity in the workplace. Do not take yourself too seriously and treat others with respect.
- Focus: Always separate unimportant from important. Focus on the impactful actions that lead to impactful results.
- Courage: Courage is the source of any big success. Stand up for your ideas, no matter how bold.
- Sustainability: Do it nice or do it twice. Consider the future consequences of your actions holistically.
- We win and fail together: Fail early, fail often, fail forward. Failure is where the lessons are. We overcome challenges as a team.
What we offer
- Impact: Work on a meaningful solution in the fight against climate change with us.
- Growth: Learn from experienced colleagues, grow your knowledge, and expand your skills within your field or by entering new ones.
- Ownership: Take ownership and meaningfully shape an early-stage company.
- Competitive compensation: We believe in rewarding good work.
- Equity: We want you to become a part of us.
- Additional perks: We cover 50% of your costs for fitness (Wellpass), language courses, and the German public transport ticket.
- Pick your poison: Use the technical equipment of your choice including a meaningful home office set-up.
About us
Holy Technologies develops a highly scalable autonomous production system designed to revolutionize composite manufacturing.
We work with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across various industries, including orthopedics, sports equipment, automotive, aerospace, and wind energy. Our automation solution enhances component weight, stiffness and recyclability while offering competitive costs comparable to Asian manufacturers, providing a sovereign and reliable manufacturing alternative within Europe.
Lightweighting is one of the key focus areas in manufacturing to date. Lightweight manufacturing contributes 7.8% to total tax revenue and around 1.3 million jobs in Germany alone. Our technology addresses 80% of components in the multi-billion-dollar composite market and is adaptable across various composite materials. It also enables the replacement of an increasing number of metal components with composites, expanding the possibilities for manufacturers.
