Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Founding Engineer to join our Hamburg-based team in this on-site, full-time role. The Founding Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our AI-native platform. Responsibilities include writing scalable and secure code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine product requirements, building and integrating APIs, and ensuring optimal system performance. The Founding Engineer will also contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior team members, and address complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and software development frameworks
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures and API integrations
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies, data security, and privacy protocols
  • Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and mentor others
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in enterprise software development, automation platforms, or AI applications is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions for complex challenges
