A rapidly growing EPC/OEM delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across Europe is expanding its Quality function in Germany. As part of this development, we are seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement activities across onshore and offshore project environments.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing project quality requirements, conducting inspections and audits, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and contractual obligations. You will support quality planning, issue resolution, KPI tracking and documentation management to help ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation and execution of Project Quality Plans
  • Conduct inspections, checks and supplier/subcontractor audits
  • Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, IEC standards and internal procedures
  • Track KPIs and provide regular quality reporting
  • Assist in managing non-conformities, root-cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Coordinate quality requirements between internal teams, clients and suppliers
  • Support tender-stage quality evaluations and supplier qualification
  • Maintain quality records and contribute to project close-out processes

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in engineering, quality management or a related technical field
  • Experience in quality assurance or engineering within EPC, manufacturing or energy projects
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and knowledge of IEC standards
  • Familiar with auditing techniques, inspection procedures and problem-solving tools
  • Professional German and English
  • Well organised, detail-focused and confident communicating with stakeholders
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to continuous improvement
