Your tasks: Adhering to and ensuring legal compliance in the area of chemicals law Working according to the principles of product stewardship in the area of food contact materials, toys and cosmetics etc.Ensuring compliance with various export regulationsPlausibility check of safety data sheetsProduct notifications according to § 45 CLP-VO as well as notifications in national product registersSound knowledge in the application of the GHS/CLP regulationEnsuring EU-REACH and non-EU REACH (e.g. KKDIK, UK-REACH) compliance of products as well as supervision of the company's own EU and non-EU REACH registrationsClose collaboration with managementClose communication with colleagues throughout the Grolman GroupOrganizing and conducting the required training for employees in the area of chemicals legislationSupport and supervision of subsidiaries in complying with national chemical regulatory requirementsEnsuring compliance with the product safety and sustainability requirements arising from law and regulations and Grolman standardsIdeally experience with digitalization of regulatory processes and willing to Improve the efficiency of existing processesService-oriented personality with a focus on internal collaborationYour profile: Completed scientific studies or comparable scientific education with professional experienceAdvanced knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks and very good knowledge of relevant standards and lawsSound knowledge of national, European and international chemical law (REACH, GHS/CLP, food law requirements; Toy Directive; export law regulations etc.)Experience in the field of cosmetics law would be of advantageFluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills desirableProactive, analytical and problem-solving approach to workVery good communication and team skills as well as good assertiveness, good organizational skillsHigh degree of initiative and responsibility, healthy level of curiosity
