Global Strategic Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) - Defense Technical Fabrics - 223132

**About the Role**:We are looking for a Strategic Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) to join our Technical Fabrics team in Putzbrunn who will develop and drive marketing objectives and strategies for new and existing Garments and accessories technologies across business units and regions. This position offers the option to work on-site at our German facility in Putzbrunn, with flexible work from home options available meaning you could work remote from home part of the time, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and shape global and regional marketing strategies, objectives and investment plans for Global Defense business unit, in close collaboration with the Global & Regional Sales Leaders and Product Specialists
- Drive market assessment for the Defense related categories, providing value-chain analysis and market insights; shape product concepts and develop and drive implementation of impactful go-to-market strategies
- Translate technical product concepts into meaningful value statements and marketing messages and support product positioning to resonate with customers and end-users
- Collaborate closely with marketing communications team for the development and execution of an impactful marketing & communications plan based on value-chain and end-user insights
- Influence proper internal and external resourcing for marketing initiative as well as oversee performance of supplier network
- Collaborate with Product Specialists and Sales Leader in business strategy development and new product development as well as with Global and Regional Defense Sales Leaders, MarCom, Digital, PR and Event Specialists to inform the development of global and regional communication strategies and plans
- Drive market assessment, provide end-user, market and value-chain insights and translate product concepts into differentiated value statements to support product positioning

**Required Qualifications**:

- 7+ years’ experience in a global marketing role, with a track record of defining and executing impactful marketing strategies
- Knowledge and experience working in the Defense related markets and Tender buying processes is highly desired
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or similar
- Demonstrated ability to translate global business strategies into strategic marketing plans and marketing initiatives in a VUCA environment
- Excellent influencing skills paired with a demonstrated ability to integrate across businesses and functions
- Excellent problem solving and conflict management capabilities
- Effective communication skills, fluency in English and preferably German
- Proven track record in achieving team results and driving clear priorities
- 25% of travel required
