**About the Role**:We are seeking a Global Supply Chain Leader (f/m/d) for our Automotive Venting Business Unit. This global business utilizes advanced materials to protect critical automotive components providing increased reliability and durability. This associate will partner with cross-functional leadership and supply chain teams in the United States, Germany, China, and Japan to design, implement, and manage a competitive global supply chain in support of business needs. This includes leadership support related to the scope of manufacturing, contract manufacturing, raw material supply, and logistics, as well as early involvement in new product development efforts to ensure successful commercialization.

This position will be located at our facility in Bavaria, Germany, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and execution of a global supply chain using 7/12 Supply Chain Strategy Process for the Automotive Business Unit and participate in the Venting Business Group supply chain strategy process
- Ensure supply chain strategic alignment (SCOR framework, financial targets, partner service level, IATF16949 requirements, sustainability expectations, effectiveness of supply/demand process etc.).
- Design, implement, and optimize supply chains (facilities network, inventory points, capacity investments, make vs. buy decisions, etc.) for new and existing products to meet business needs
- Identify risk within the supply chain and drive appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Translate the business strategy into functional objectives for supply chain associates, including Regional Supply Chain Leaders, Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics
- Influence and act as an integrator across the business, supply chain, and Core Technology by collaborating with other leaders to develop supply chain execution plans
- Ensure effective execution of both long-term capacity planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) including coordinating the actions needed across the supply chain to create profitable responses to the S&OP plan
- Participate on the Automotive Venting Core Team as a key partner with Business, Technical and Sales Leadership
- Participate in phase gate reviews for new product development (NPD) projects and stay informed on progress towards meeting design for manufacturability goals that enable commercial product success
- Create an environment that engages associates, promotes continuous improvement, and drives results

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree; Preferred degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Science, or Business
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain or technical experience including a minimum of 3 years leading an end-to-end supply chain or functional team
- Successful track record of creating a positive team environment and inspiring teams to achieve joint success
- Proven track record of consistently finishing projects and successfully executing on strategic plans
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and build trusting relationships across functions and regions
- Demonstrated ability to clearly establish expectations and hold others accountable
- Ability to provide the clarity needed to develop and execute strategic plans and successfully manage multiple priorities
- Ability to clearly communicate in both spoken and written English
- Ability to travel internationally up to 15% and participate in virtual meetings including those in other time zones which may occur in early morning or evening

**Desired Qualifications**:

- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional certification
- Automotive industry experience including experience with IATF16949
- Demonstrated experience using the 7/12 Supply Chain Strategy Development Process
