Recreation Assistant

**Duties**: - Works under the supervision of the Facility Director who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and performs general housekeeping to ensure facilities/courts are ready for use. - Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities. - Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits as applicable. - Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs maintenance on facilities and equipment. - Conducts surveillance of facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor. Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events; puts up and takes down special event decorations. May assist in conducting community events. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. - Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a Tier 1 background investigation. - A one year probationary period may be required. - Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty. - Citizenship eligible under country SOFA agreement. - Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays. - In consideration of COVID-19, personnel within this area may routinely wear personal protective equipment while performing their regular duties. **Qualifications**: - 1. Possess work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties: secure facility, issue equipment to customers, collect fees as applicable, and monitor inventory, supplies and equipment. - 2.
