**Your Role**:
As a** QA Lead (M/F/d)** at StudySmarter, you have a direct impact on the quality of our product, which is used by almost 7 million students and pupils.
Together with you, we help everyone achieve their learning goals and make StudySmarter the world's #1 learning platform

**The following tasks await you**:

- Lead, inspire and build up our QA Team
- Managing & coaching our QA Team members with regular 1:1 meetings
- Take Ownership of the quality assurance process at StudySmarter and continuously improve it in collaboration with the other tech leaders
- Identify bottlenecks and weaknesses in our quality and delivery processes
- Make sure our test automation coverage is continuously and sustainably improving to reduce our regression effort

**What you need to succeed**:

- You have at least 8 years of experience of relevant experience in quality assurance (including automation)
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Good Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong skills in QA automation
- Very strong skills with tools and frameworks like testrail and cypress (JS)
- Strong skills in agile methodologies and delivery management and agile methodologies and delivery management
- Hands-On mentality in managing and improving processes
- Great know-how in web frontend and REST architectures
- Passion for digital product development, new challenges, personal growth and digital education

**Would be a plus**:

- Experience in B2C startups/scaleups
