Team Lead Quality Assurance

**What challenges await you**:
As our **Team Lead Quality Assurance (all genders), **you will play a critical role in overseeing and defining all aspects of product development quality assurance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As an experienced team lead in the field, you possess a deep understanding of technology and a comprehensive knowledge of how quality assurance fits into the agile software development lifecycle. You understand the importance of quality assurance (QA) throughout the product lifecycle, from the early stages of requirement definition to the final product deployment. You are familiar with agile development and support tools, and appreciate the significance of consistency within the QA process. By utilizing standards and metrics to produce measurable results, you recognize what good QA looks like. In your role as a team lead, you will serve as a mentor and educator to your team members. This means in detail:

- Establishing and managing a cohesive quality assurance function across all software development teams.
- Collaborating with developers and testers across multiple projects to ensure that established quality standards are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Fostering a culture of teamwork and partnership across product, engineering, and business teams.
- Collaborating with product managers and software engineers on everyday basis to facilitate regular and productive communication.
- Collaborating with DevOps team members to incorporate QA into the automated pipeline, supporting the organization's CI/CD initiatives.
- Promoting development best practices that prioritize high-quality results through a quality
- and test-focused approach.
- Leading the relationship with remote test teams and third-party test vendors as needed.
- Identifying opportunities for continual improvement, including test automation.
- Developing a QA roadmap to establish a timeline for continuous improvement and enhancement.

**What you bring along**:

- You have an academic degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a similar field.
- You have 5 years of relevant working experience in the area of software quality assurance as well as 1y+ of leadership experience.
- You are skilled in the development of test plans, test cases, and test automation.
- You have experience in the usage of test case management tools.
- You possess knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language.
- You have experience in leading quality assurance efforts and driving continuous process improvement in software development.
- You are experienced with agile software development processes, for example Scrum.
- You have experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Testcafe or equivalent).

**Nice to have**:

- German is a plus.
- You have experience with testing methodologies such as BDD.
