Pactos is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup reinventing how companies manage their external workforce. Our AI-powered platform digitizes the entire end-to-end process, enabling organizations to manage external staff and staffing providers in a compliant, transparent, and highly efficient way.

We're now looking for a QA Engineer who ensures that every release meets our high standards for reliability, usability, and scalability — and who wants to help us build a QA culture from the ground up.

Tasks

You'll take ownership of our test strategy, automate where it makes sense, and make sure our users experience a rock-solid platform.

  • Design & execute test strategies – Define and implement QA processes, test plans, and test cases for new and existing features.
  • Automate smartly – Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, and regression tests) using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers – Work hand-in-hand with engineers to catch bugs early, improve code quality, and streamline releases.
  • Ensure reliability across environments – Validate integrations, monitor builds, and guarantee stability across browsers and devices.
  • Shape the QA foundation – Help establish Pactos' QA standards and best practices to make product reliability measurable and actionable.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing (manual and/or automated)
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar)
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST, GraphQL)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of modern web apps (React, , etc.)
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive — you take ownership of quality
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
