**Department description**
Let’s start with the name: UfC stands for “Utility for claims”. Now what does this mean? We are tech loving people on a mission to help insurance companies and their claims departments unleash the untapped value hidden in today’s insurance claims processes by building and integrating amazing tech to simplify, accelerate and improve processes along the entire claims value chain. UfC is a working title, and we are already in the process of finding something a bit catchier. Bear with us.
UfC focuses on the motor claims market and has two main areas:
**First**: Building and managing a technical platform that will allow us to offer end2end claims solutions for AZ OEs and external partners with a broad international footprint. Why a platform? We believe that there are many great solutions in the market, two of the leading players - GT Motive and Control Expert - are belonging to UfC. However, we also believe that in order to offer a true end2end solution for customers around the globe, we need to be open to partnering with external solution providers that offer services or cover regions we cannot support with our own solutions. We see ourselves as an aggregator and orchestrator of services that will take out complexity and increase transparency for our clients in a highly complex market. While the vision is to focus on end2end solutions, we also believe that we have to provide flexible modules for parts of the claims process, to optimally serve our insurance clients.
**Second**: Managing and growing our portfolio companies Control Expert and GT Motive - and potentially others to come - which have developed state of the art solutions to enable specific parts of the claims process. Both companies are not only serving Allianz OEs but many top insurance companies across multiple continents already today.
We are a young company, the team is just forming, the product is still early stage, our portfolio companies Control Expert and GT Motive are about to take the next big growth leap and we are constantly looking to extend our portfolio of companies via M&A and commercial partnerships. As you might guess: there is tons of building that we need to do and we need to hurry up, as we are not the only one pushing into the market.
**Job purpose / Role**
I am looking for individuals with a rare set of talents that are found in all the builders out there. Technically, it is an Executive Assistant Position, but I believe there is so much more to this role.
This job could be a great experience for you. It will be fast paced, challenging, hard work, crazy at times but if you go home at night, you will feel the pleasure of having built something. Every day - well almost every day.
So, what are we looking for? Empathy, great communication skills, excellent analytical skills, fluency in English and relevant experience in consulting, M&A, software product development or similar fields are important. But I see them more as hygiene factors. When I look back on why people I worked with in the past were successful, three things always stood out: personal drive, curiosity & focus on execution. This is the secret sauce for builders This is what we need at UfC.

**Key responsibilities**
- Supporting the CEO in all operational and strategic tasks regarding his responsibility for Utility for Claims
- Ensuring an effective and efficient execution of various projects and strategic initiatives requiring the attention or representation of the CEO
- Interaction with senior management of the portfolio companies, various stakeholders within the Allianz Group, external partners and external clients
- Preparation of content and communications for the CEO for internal and external purposes in direct alignment with the CEO
- Managing and handling daily tasks and ad-hoc requests from external as well as internal stakeholders
**Qualification**
- University degree (diploma or master’s degree with strong academic track record)
- Fluent in spoken and written English; German and additional languages are a plus
- MS Office capabilities (esp. Power Point, Excel)
**Experience and key skills**
- 3-5 years of professional experience;
- knowledge of insurance business / claims process is a bonus
- Proven experience in a similar position or within areas such as business administration, project management, and/or consulting
- Very sharp analytic and conceptual skills; ability to frame issues, structure thinking, and derive key messages and actions
- Proven experience in international environment with excellent cross-cultural skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
- Pro-active and independent working style with a can-do attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality results, even under time pressure
