The salary will be up to Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L, if the personal requirements and tasks are fulfilled. **Tasks**: In the joint research project "Value Plant - Plant-Based Valuable Compounds and Optimization of Crop Productivity," innovative scientific methods are being developed to extract plant-based valuable compounds and enhance the stress tolerance of crops. By combining fundamental plant science research with applied bio - technology, sustainable solutions are created for the fields of nutrition, agriculture, and the bioeconomy. - Protein research in the EFRE joint project "Value Plant" - Protein production in heterologous expression systems (E. coli, yeast, insect cells, human cells, plant cells) - Biochemical, structural and bioinformatic characterisation of proteins - Teaching commitment - Publication and presentation of scientific results nationally and internationally **Requirements**: - Completed scientific university degree (PhD) in biochemistry, or a related discipline - Experience in the production of proteins in a variety of expression systems and in the purification and char - acterisation of proteins. - Knowledge in the field of structural biology and bioinformatics - Experience in publishing scientific results - Good German and English language skills - Ability to work in a team Applications from severely disabled persons with equal aptitude and qualifications will be given preferential consideration.
