Your Mission

The Role:
As part of our continued scaling up and expansion, we are looking for an electric vehicle charging technical project lead reporting to the head of electric hardware development.
You’ll be responsible for the end to end delivery of our next generations of lamppost charging products - overseeing design, prototyping, certification and initial manufacture.
You’ll be at be cutting edge of how we’re developing our products and customer experience. Through this process you’ll become an expert on ubitricity’s technology and will partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to drive product improvements and delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical lead the design, development, certification and initial manufacture of the next generation of ubitricity lamppost chargers working with both internal ubi team and 3rd parties
- Identify and document trends in the product (hardware and software) requirements Cities request
- Work with the ubitricity new business development team to adapt existing products as necessary to meet evolving customer needs
- Ensure effective collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of new products.
- Set strategic priorities, translate them into concrete projects and work closely with teams across the business to execute.
- Project manage pilots to test new concepts and technology
- Work closely with our teams across the globe to identify important trends, problems and opportunities

**Profile**:

- A proven track record of electronic product development across the lifecycle from design to manufacture.
- Team leadership experience ideally gained in an electronics environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge on analytical tools and data interpretation techniques
- A self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
- Able to take initiative and ownership of new projects
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving / adapting as conditions change
- Organised and independent; you’re both an individual contributor and a team player
